Water damage in Ely rarely waits for a convenient hour, and neither does our dispatch line. Hirex Water Damage keeps Water Removal crews and equipment staged inside Ely so a technician can be at your door quickly.
Plenty of Ely families have dialed a big national number and waited through hold music before a random contractor showed up hours later, and Hirex Water Damage exists specifically to fix that pattern. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Our lead technicians hold IICRC water restoration certification and have worked jobs ranging from a single soaked bedroom to a fully flooded commercial floor, which is why Water Removal in Ely is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. We carry full liability coverage and hold active licensing to operate throughout Ely, IA.
Because our gear is staged locally rather than shipped in, Ely response times run well ahead of a typical national franchise.
Anyone in Ely who's had a mid-night plumbing failure knows that every extra minute of standing water means more material soaked through. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
We also invest in ongoing technician training, since restoration methods and equipment keep evolving and a Ely crew running outdated techniques does the property a disservice.
The Ely jobs that end up gutting a room almost always started quiet, not with a flood. Here's what tells our team a Ely property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Ely line and we'll give you a straight answer on urgency.
Whether it's a small residential leak or a large commercial loss, our Ely teams size the crew and equipment to fit. Every service below reflects a specific piece of equipment or protocol, not just a marketing category.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors built to clear a flooded Ely room before water soaks deeper into the subfloor. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once extraction wraps, commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers go to work based on psychrometric readings, not a flat per-room count, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
For Ely homeowners, that means flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything salvageable, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
Multi-unit and commercial properties in Ely get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment for the real square footage, not a token setup — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
When a Ely job involves sewage backup, our team suits up fully, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
Every Ely drying job includes preventive antimicrobial application aimed at heading off mold before it starts.
Every Ely estimate is written and explained up front — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Because equipment is staged inside Ely, most calls see a technician on-site in under an hour.
We photograph and log every step so your Ely claim moves faster and you're not arguing with an insurer alone.
We don't call a Ely job finished until the meter agrees, and if it doesn't, we return at no additional cost.
Our Ely team asks just enough to send the right-sized crew, not a generic single technician every time.
Our nearest available Ely crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount gear on board.
Standing water comes out first, then we map moisture and position air movers based on the readings.
We don't close the Ely file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, with full photo and moisture documentation in hand.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and won't sign off on a Ely job until readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact guarantee printed on your Ely paperwork, not only spoken over the phone. A repeat visit under this guarantee means picking up exactly where the last one left off, not starting from scratch.
We built this guarantee because Ely property owners deserve more than a verbal assurance that a job is done — they deserve proof.
