A cracked supply line or an overflowing appliance doesn't check the clock before it ruins a floor. Hirex Water Damage keeps Structural Drying crews and equipment staged inside Ely so a technician can be at your door quickly.
Hirex Water Damage didn't start as a franchise looking for a new zip code to expand into — it started because Ely homeowners kept describing the same frustrating experience: a national hotline, a long hold, and a subcontractor nobody vetted. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Certification isn't just a logo on our site — our Ely crew leads have logged real hours on clean, gray, and contaminated water losses, which is why Structural Drying in Ely is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. Full insurance and Ely, IA licensing back every job we take in Ely.
Equipment lives in a Ely-area warehouse rather than being trucked in from three counties over, which shortens arrival time considerably.
Anyone in Ely who's had a mid-night plumbing failure knows that every extra minute of standing water means more material soaked through. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
Staying current on restoration techniques matters as much in Ely as the equipment itself, which is why training isn't a one-time certification and done.
Plenty of the worst jobs we've walked into in Ely started as something small that got put off for a few weeks. Here's what tells our team a Ely property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along, get ahead of it now — our Ely dispatcher will tell you honestly whether it's urgent or something we can schedule.
From a single flooded closet to a three-story commercial building, our Ely crews scale the response to match the actual damage. Every service below reflects a specific piece of equipment or protocol, not just a marketing category.
Our Ely units carry truck-mount extraction pumps that pull standing water out fast, cutting exposure time from days to hours. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once extraction wraps, commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers go to work based on psychrometric readings, not a flat per-room count, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
On the residential side in Ely, we handle the flood cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so the home is ready for rebuild, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
For commercial Ely accounts, we assign a lead, run crews outside normal hours to limit downtime, and size equipment to the actual footprint — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Ely get handled under strict Category 3 protocol from containment through documented disposal.
Every Ely drying job includes preventive antimicrobial application aimed at heading off mold before it starts.
Every Ely estimate is written and explained up front — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Local staging inside Ely typically puts a tech at your door quickly, not after a long drive across the region.
Our paperwork is built to match what Ely, IA adjusters expect, so you're not stuck translating restoration jargon.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider any Ely job done, and getting there again is on us.
Our Ely team asks just enough to send the right-sized crew, not a generic single technician every time.
A licensed technician heads to your Ely address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Extraction happens right away, with drying equipment placed only after moisture mapping is complete.
We re-check moisture daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and won't sign off on a Ely job until readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact guarantee printed on your Ely paperwork, not only spoken over the phone. We try to return the same crew for any callback so the person handling it already knows the property and the original readings.
A guarantee only means something if it's backed by documented numbers, which is why every Ely job closes with instrument readings attached.

Beyond Ely itself, coverage extends across nearby zip codes, with additional Ely, IA crews available for large-scale or commercial losses. If your address falls inside or near Ely, a Hirex Water Damage crew can typically respond the same day.
Knowing Ely's neighborhoods matters more than it might seem — older sections of town often have different plumbing and foundation quirks than newer developments, and our crews adjust accordingly.
